International Group B Strep Awareness Month

Group B strep is one of the leading causes of death among new borns. A simple test during the 35-37 week of pregnancy can determine if you are carrying the bacteria. Following a positive test there will be extra precautions taken while delivering to prevent the bacteria from being spread to your baby.
